Eat Free Stress Free with Mr.Dakgalbi!

Eating is a happy thing to do when you can enjoy the meal with your friends and have fun!
A big thank you to Jess & the team and The Butterfly Project, I was invited to a food review session at Mr.Dakgalbi, Bukit Bintang branch last week.

It can be easily found in the midst of busy streets as the red building and its logo really stands out.

Mr.Dakgalbi is a Korean restaurant that specializes in spicy chicken meat and rest assured, it is 100% halal. It offers a rare speciality that would leave curiosity of cuisine enthusiasts who wonder why it hasn't exploded in popularity. A recipe that dates back to the 1960s, dakgalbi consists of stir-fried marinated chicken in a chilli pepper paste along with Dduk (rice cake) and a fine selection of side dishes. Among these variations, once can choose variations like Bean Sprouts Dakgalbi, Seafood Dakgalbi and even a variety of fried rice, seafood pancake and noodles.

Mirrors which definitely give a spacious view.

"Running Man" backdrop. Don't miss a chance for pictures with it if you are a fans of this variety show!

The event started with a brief introduction about the restaurant by Sean, Mr. John (the CEO of Mr.Dakgalbi Bukit Bintang Branch) and Dayang.

Without further ado, the food is served!

Dakgalbi (4 servings)
Side dishes were given too; kimchi, salad and radish (top left to bottom).

It is our honour to have Mr.John to cook for us! He is friendly and willing to share his tips in cooking such delicious dakgalbi too. Mr. John is a Korean but he can speak fluent English! So no worries about communication.

A steel cover is put around the pan so that the customers wouldn't feel much heat when the meal is cooked.

The meat is so appealing and we just have to dig in!

If you find this not filling enough, you can always have ramen and fried rice as well.
Look at the herbs and spices added on top!

Firstly, we had ramen added into the dakgalbi. When we almost finish half of it, fried rice is added and there is cheese underneath! IMO the sweetness of the meat already topped off the spiciness so it wouldn't be that spicy as it looks. You can still have a try if you can't take any spicy food, maybe you'll love it! For a spicy food lover and as well as I love cheese, the fried rice is just perfect!! #killingtwobirdswithonestone

It came to our surprise when we found out that the chilli powder used is:

- Effective in preventing skin aging
- Help reduce weight
- Plenty of Vitamin A, B and C that could reduce the stress by its spicy food

So eat without worries at Mr.Dakgalbi!

Jaeng-ban Noodles

Yes the egg is so cute and definitely a picture taken of it! The vegetables and noodles are supposed to mix together and reminded me of lou sang? Because you just mix all the ingredients together!

The event turned out to be even more wonderful when I get to meet friends and have fun together!

From Left: Nicole, Jess and Jessryn.
Hope to see you all soon! :D

And finally 3 of us attended an event together!
This photo doesn't focus on Lenna's and my face but I still love it!!
It was a spontaneous shot so this is our true selves! :D

All the happy faces and we definitely enjoyed the night,
especially without the worry of gaining weight and release stress!

Furthermore, Mr.Dakgalbi serves breakfast and lunch set too! So now you can enjoy the marinated spicy chicken anytime!
If you have been eager to explore new Korean restaurant, you just have to come and have a try on this one! The restaurant is easily to be look out for as it is just a few minutes walk from Low Yat Plaza and can be reached within walking distance from Times Square, Pavilion and Fahrenheit 88. A place where you can enjoy good food and chill after shopping! It is located just next to Bank Islam.

Get to know Puuuv Soap!

Has these ever came across your mind....

Is the soap that I'm using everyday now suitable for my skin?
Is there any chemical or harmful ingredients inside that without me knowing it?

If these are what you are constantly thinking about, it's never too late to discover this!

The only skincare soap for you
- No chemical content
- No synthetic colouring
- No synthetic fragrance

Puuuv Soap is a natural soap making business which is based in Malaysia. As ingredient is one of the factor to deliver good result, they choose most of their ingredients from sustainable vegetable oil plantations across the world and attempt to incorporate organic ingredients wherever possible. As they promised, their handmade soap doesn't contain synthetic dyes or fragrances, parabens, petroleum-based ingredients, nor animal by-productsRest assured that the products are entirely from edible raw materials. Not to forget to do their part for Mother Earth, all product packagings are recycled, recyclable and biodegradable!

In this March, Puuuv Soap will be releasing the new Organic Tea Tree Oil Facial Product Series. As of now, this series consist of two items which are suitable for all skin types;

Organic Tea Tree Makeup Setting Spray

Sprayed it on my face after daily skincare routine, and surprisingly it absorbs very fast! ❤❤❤ I'm really bad at waiting and after the spray I can proceed to do my makeup. The tea tree scent doesn't bother me much as I'm quite used to it since I have other tea tree oil products too.

Organic Tea Tree Oil Soap

Love how the bubbles are easily formed after I lather the soap with water! Particularly for me (who constantly feel that my hands are so dry), I don't feel any dryness after washing with it. Kudos to this! ✓ Since I need to wash my hands quite a number of times daily, my hands feel dry easily and I always have to use hand lotion to compensate the moisture that is lost. And using bar soap definitely save a lot compared to if you're using liquid soap!

Eager to try to make one for yourself or as a gift to others?

In conjunction with the official launch of Organic Tea Tree Oil Facial Product Series, Puuuv Soap is organising a workshop for you to get your hands on! In this workshop, you can learn more about DIY handmade soap and make your own soap on the spot.

Update: CNY 2014

It feels so good to be on my own laptop again! Laptop was gone for two weeks and I can assure you that I didn't have the mood to do any work on others' laptop. It always feel the best when you are using your own belongings right?

which made me update my Dayre daily without fail.
#proud #phoneaddict #randomenough

CNY passed so fast with the short holidays we had. Coincidentally it occurs on week 3 to week 5 of my semester, which means even before CNY ends I got to prepare for loads of tests and assignments! Already told myself to be mentally prepared for all these challenges! Came to think of it, actually I should be physically prepared as well. :X

Some daily updates;
(pictures can be found in Dayre as well)

1. CNY day 1 outfit. Totally have no idea what should I wear until I wake up that morning. Is it just me who feel so lazy to think about how to mix & match an outfit?
  • Dress from Seed
  • Kitten heels from XES
  • Bag from Hush Puppies

2. It was a coincidence that my sister and I wore the shirts that we both got from Bali! Only saw her wearing it after we got down from the car to my grandparents' house. Can't wait for more fun soon! x

3. Prior to CNY the weather was so cold and all of a sudden the hot weather came back again. I still remember that the hot weather is so perfect for doing housekeeping = CNY mood is finally here! This picture is taken outside my house before heading out for reunion dinner that night. :)

4. Early birthday celebration for an uni friend of mine and we make it as a CNY gathering too. Spent a night at Ossoto Recreation Hub which is a hit place in the town now. Supposedly we thought that we can have a relaxing time there but it doesn't turn out so well. Nevertheless, time spent with friends is so precious to us knowing that we gonna go part ways soon. This is taken at TLJ Wolo after we checked out in the morning thus explaining all the tiring faces.

5. LINE plush toys at F88! It is priced at RM39.90 and it is TOO CUTE I COULDN'T RESIST. No I didn't get one for myself.

6. Not in the mood to study for tomorrow's test so this was what I did this evening. Cleaning up part of my skincare + make-up stuffs into the boxes that I got from HiShop! The boxes are good in quality that I feel so wasted if I just throw them away. My table looks less messy now at least. :D

7. This 5 years old kid is so sporting and keep yelling that he wants to be included in all the photos that we were taking! Lol this picture is the most presentable one because it's either he is forever moving (jumping) or looking too far away from the camera. This is still acceptable since he was looking at himself in the phone screen. ✓✓✓

The latest update ought to be this. Finally I'm willing to cut off my bleached hair!! Woah it has been a year since I have the crazy blue > green > grey > multi-colour hair. Went to 76style and had my hair transformation! Thank you Odera-san for making the decisions on what to do with my hair because I totally have no idea and I know I'm in good hands.

Thanks for reading and I'll be back with more posts! Guiltless is overwhelming me after the lack of update for such a long time.

All these photos are taken with my phone and I love it! Especially with the outdoor lighting. :D

Have a wonderful week ahead everyone!

Daily skincare routine is never enough. Imagine if you always eat the same food, doing the same thing, you will get bored as time passed. It's the same for your face! Sometimes a boost is essential to achieve a better result.

Big thank you to, I received Neuzell Juvenescence recently to try and see whether it can achieve wonder on me! Can't hide the excitement enough, after I tried to minimize the large pores on my T-zone, the next step would be to lighten the acne scars as well as brightening my face. Neuzell Juvenescence came to me at the right time!

After reading about the product, WOW was the first thing that popped in my head because it can works in 3 ways! As a serum, mask or exfoliant, it depends on how you want to use it!

It's really convenient and the instructions are very clearly stated! To start my journey with Neuzell, I used it (still are) as a mask before I was heading out. Wanted to feel good with a pampered skin and of course a good mood following me the whole day.

As you can see, the amount might not be enough for the whole face, but when you continuing to apply, rest assured that it is sufficient!

I love it when I applied the gel because it felt so light. After 20 minutes, washed my face and can't wait to take a photo so that I can make comparison. Photos are always the best evidence to show us improvements!

My face looks brighter and radiant compared to the previous dull face. And another noticeable thing was, my face didn't turn oily that fast it used to be that day. Usually it takes 2 - 3 hours to the shiny (oily) face, but surprisingly I still feel fresh for quite some time!

It was a good try for this product and I continue to use it since then. As suggested, mask application for 2 times a week!

Neuzell Juvenescence has been proven to be a promising product and it has won itself several titles of fame.
