Cath Kidston To Bring Its Classic & Quirky Prints To KL!

Can't hold the excitement when Alicia shared this news to me!

HOORAYYYYYYY

I was thinking to make a trip down to Singapore to meet my friends(the minor reason) and at the same time to visit Cath Kidston store at Ion Orchard(the major reason, lol)! Totally attracted by the modern vintage concept since dunno when. I always tempted to get a phone case which is Cath Kidston inspired but logical brain of mine told me to save the money and get somethingS authentic instead! Not to forget that international shipping fee is always a huge burden. :(

Fret not, as they will soon open a store at Mid Valley Megamall in November! October is going to end and November is waving its hand to us. Just wait for a little while...

As Cath Kidston was set in a shop in 1993, they will celebrate their 20th birthday this yearIsn't it
even memorable with the first store in Malaysia commemorates their 20th year milestone? That is equivalent to a teenager stepping into adulthood!

Can't wait to know the official date of opening and step into the home of modern vintage!

241013: RIP

I'm worried.
What had happened to Malaysia?
Where is the peace that everyone demands?

Getting to know that a friend of my brother was killed terrifies me. Not a joke. Imagine when someone around you passed away due to all these avoidable incidents? I feel so sorry to his family and people he loves. At a young age of his, he might be planning to fulfil his wildest dreams. But yet, things like this occurred and everything turns into ash.

Maybe I'm overreacted. But it doesn't have to be people who are close/ is closest to you that left so that you'll feel the pain. Just think, and be cautious all the time as we will never know what is coming up next.

Blogging 101: (Unboxing) Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner

Have been using this toner which I received from Natta Cosme!
This is a review project for Butterfly Project School and Natta Cosme is the first to bring this into a success.

Natta Cosme is a planet(shop, lol) which sells products ranging from make up, skincare, tools and anything to turn us into beauty. It is located at Seremban but fret not, they provide courier services and you can receive the goods at your doorstep!

I have a good impression on their courier service! Received an email from Customer Service that the parcel is on the way on Friday night. Guess what? I got it on Monday morning! It was fast and the parcel was in its perfect condition.

Loving the lace that they glued on the side of the box and...

...coincidentally matching with my table cloth! :)

What's in the box:
a pink heart warming letter;
a packet of cotton pad with some surprises inside;
and the main character of this review;
Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner!

Of course Natta Cosme doesn't merely just put all these items inside the box. They were taken care of with lots of paper shreds and a big red decorative paper.

The design behind the letter cards didn't fail to impress me!
The cards are so pretty with all these pinkish words.

We are required to read this "medicine" from Clinic Natta Cosme.

Wondering what message that this capsule brings?

"Cotton pads are commonly used to apply toner for better absorption."
"WHAT DO YOU THINK?"

Natta is so considerate to provide us cotton pads to apply the toner.

Suzuran Lily Bell Lilian Puff is made of superior cotton and I can notice that it is thicker and stronger (if you want to pull it into half) compared to other cotton pads that I has been using. Furthermore after I applied the toner with it, the texture of the puff is still the same. Unlike others, which is a mess and sometimes my face will left with some white cotton residues!

Besides the cotton pads that were provided, there is something extra too!

What's your answer?

Usually I will apply moisturiser after applying toner.

But hey, what about trying this magic cream?

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream is an all-natural skin cream made of 6 of nature's most powerful moisturising and healing ingredients; Olive Oil, Beeswax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and Propolis Extract. Most importantly, no synthetic preservatives or fragrance added. It can actually be used as a moisturiser or to be applied on all parts of body, something similar to Vaseline!

Here comes the toner! It was bubble wrapped and I'm sure you will feel the same way as I do that they really care about sending the items safely to their customers. Add a ribbon on the bottle definitely can make things look/feel different too. ;)

IMO, this toner comes in a large size(to me) which is 355 ml and I certainly didn't expect it. Compared to the current toner that I'm using, this can definitely let me use for a longer time!

Ingredients:

  • Purified water
  • Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Certified Organic Filet of Aloe Vera)
  • Glycerin (Vegetable)
  • Fragrance (Natural Rose)
  • Hamamelis Virginiana (THAYERS proprietary un-distilled Certified Organic Witch Hazel) Extract
  • Rose Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water
  • Citric Acid
  • Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract
  • Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate

This toner is alcohol-free and with witch hazel extract inside, it can help me to tighten large pores! At first I was hesitating whether to apply for this review project as the product might not be suitable for me. After knowing about the ingredients, I knew that it wouldn't worsen my skin condition. And of course I tried my luck and this toner is in my hand now!

This is getting longer and thus I'll share my opinion of using these 2 items; Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream and Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner in an upcoming post. As well as some other details. Other than all these surprises that I received, there is a surprise given to the readers; that is YOU! Stay tuned!

Nevertheless, thanks again; all these will not be happening without their big efforts.

Favourite Music #6: The Master's Sun

The drama has come to an end last Thursday and many fans are having difficult withdrawal symptoms right nowww. I'm one of them too. :<
It is not hard to fall for this drama especially when the story is so interesting!!

Since the drama has ended and they already released all the OSTs, I would like to share some favourites among them. No doubt that listening to these songs can recall the sweet memories between the main couple in the drama; Joo Joong Won and Tae Gong Shil

Yoon Mi Rae - Touch Love

Needless to say, this song is many fans' favourite because it brings out the hidden feeling that Tae Gong Shil have towards Joo Joong Won! Continuing the drama further, the fans (or precisely, me) feel happy that actually Joong Won has the same feeling towards her too. awww

Hong Dae Kwang - You & I

As for this second song that I like the most, it reminds me of the cute little sun, Tae Yi Ryeong when she is trying her best to seduce Kang Woo! Maybe "seduce" sounds very bad (as in her personality), but I love her too after looking at her with her cute acts!

I'm really pleased and happy that the drama ends with the three perfect couples finally together!

  • Joo Joong Won x Tae Gong Shil
  • Kang Woo x Tae Yi Ryeong
  • Cheap Mouth Security Team Member x Tae Gong Ri

Not to forget that Joong Won's aunt is pregnant and decided to have the child too! Happy ending! :)

And I think I'm currently doing the 4th statement in the following article, just that I replaced the email with a blogpost instead.

Hope you enjoy this drama as I do! x

It's October!

Finally this month has arrived. Couldn't believe how fast time has passed and last year this time I was having my internship.

Had been spending my time quite usefully since my last paper and I definitely feel satisfied about it.
Woke up early to go to the market with my mum, working out, enjoying the sunshine with no worries(of endless of tutorials + assignments)... What else could I hope for?

And yes, I found a job to occupy my 3 months break. I would have get a better job but I insisted to try this despite the nagging of my mum and some relatives. Yes, working as a promoter is my choice.
Came back from a few days training and guess what? I think I learnt a lot! Even though it was only shortly 2 days.

My mum know that I had been wanted to work as a promoter(selling products & pushing sales) but she discourages me to do so. I think she has tried to give me the idea that a promoter job is always a tiring one(bla bla blaaa) since....... ages. lol She told me that a degree holder can handle better jobs; higher salary, less tiredness, and fixed working time.

"Mum... Please?"

But I want to learn more, especially on soft skills. Introducing a product to a customer requires some capabilities too. The first thing is to break the shyness barrier and I'm quite eager to do this. Mainly because I wish to interact with different people, rather than confining myself in my own little sweet world. Initiating an interaction is equally important with how to maintain the relationship with that particular person. And not to forget, everything is new to me in this field. I have more space to improve myself!

My degree internship was in an office environment, it would be good if there is a change. Doesn't have to wreck my brain to think what formal attire to wear for work! It was a tough one and I already experienced it twice(for 2 jobs I mean). And I believe there are MORE to come after I graduate. :O

Of course there are many other ways to meet new and DIFFERENT people, what I can do is trying to find my own way to make me grow. To be more prepared and think wider.

Sorry if you find what I wrote here is boring. But I want to jot this down(my current thoughts) so that it can be a reminder/motivation for me when I feel tired or at the urge of giving up if I face some obstacle in this near future.

To reveal the ugly truth...
This is what I do(or did) when my salary is out. #typical
